Who are we?

We are a group of civic and professional leaders who meet on a regular basis to help bring opportunities to young people in our community. We have three standing groups within the SGLG: Public Communications Committee, Enrichment Programs Committee, and Southern Georgetown County Friends of the Library.

What do we do?

Our committees work on these major goals:

  1. Establishing a network of communication among members of our community.
  2. Develop a public library in Southern Georgetown County
  3. Promote the development of out of school time enrichment programs in our community.
